Fly rod- 4 or 5 wt. for smaller streams and flies.
A 9 ft 6 wt. is best for hoppers and salmon flies and helpful on windy days
Fly reel- Double taper or weight forward floating line, 100 yds. backing
Assortment of leaders and tippet spools size 0X to 6X
Waders-appropriate to the season
Wading shoes for wet-wading
Good quality rain gear
Polarized sunglasses
Camera
Sunscreen
Fishing vest/Waist pack or tackle bag
I will provide custom tied flies for you to use on the trip.

There are several excellent fly shops in the Livingston/Bozeman area.
